Florent PARMENTIER has been interviewed and quoted by the Ukrainian newspaper Novoye Vremya (« New Times ») on the new French President Emmanuel Macron. Seen from Ukraine, his election is a very good surprise as, contrarily to other candidates, he does not seek privileged relationship with the Russian President, at the expense of Ukraine’s sovereignty. He is already compared with a « French Obama » or a « French Trudeau ». On Russian issues, he will probably be a pragmatist more than an anti-Putinist activist.
