The « Yellow Jackets » movement in France has raised a lot of interest at an international level, targeting French President Macron and his policies. The France – Italy row is an illutration and a consequence of this interest, with Paris recalling its Ambassador in early February.
Anna Pavlenko has asked Florent Parmentier to analyze the movement for Novoye Vremya (late December), as many Yellow Jackets activists have compared this movement with the Orange Revolution (2004) and the Euromaidan (2013-2014) movements.
